Dr. Matthias Fuchs

Dr. Matthias Fuchs is an Assistant Professor in marketing at EHL and a lecturer at the University of St. Gallen (HSG). He researches digital customer behavior, product and service configurators, and customer feedback. He teaches marketing and computational thinking.
Dr. Matthias Fuchs received his Ph.D. in marketing from the University of St. Gallen (HSG) in 2021, where he was the managing director of the Center for Innovation (CFI-HSG) and head of Custom Executive Education Programs at the Institute for Marketing and Customer Insight (IMC-HSG). Before pursuing his Ph.D., he spent more than six years in brand management, marketing management, and strategy consulting at Procter & Gamble, Coty Inc., and Roland Berger Strategy Consultants. He holds two master’s degrees from the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU), the Norwegian School of Economics and Business (NHH), and the Global Alliance in Management Education (CEMS). He earned his bachelor’s degree from the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU).

Katarzyna Wrzesinska

Project Coordinator at EHL

Katarzyna Wrzesinska is a Project Coordinator at Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne. She is experienced in online marketing – she worked for an interactive agency in Poland before joining EHL. Katarzyna is a successful project manager with experience in several project areas including start-up management. Uniquely, she spent several years working for a major detective agency where she moved from operations to a senior Board of Directors position.

Katarzyna is a graduate of an MBA programme in Madrid and Warsaw and completed a post-graduate programme in IT project management. She is a passionate athlete with a life-long amateur and profesional career in handball and beach handball. She has recently started an amateur beach handball club in Lausanne. She speaks fluent English, French, Spanish and Polish.

Ms Sarah De Vantéry

Research Assistant

“Sarah de Vantéry is a Research Assistant at Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne. Passionate about languages and cultures, she holds a Bachelor’s degree in Slavic Studies and in English from the Université de Lausanne.
Wishing to have the opportunity to put her language skills to use in her professional career, she completed her studies with a Master’s degree in International Tourism obtained from the Università della Svizzera italiana.
Sarah has previously worked in the tourism and communication fields, both in Ticino and in Valais.”
